hamilton loomis

Hamilton Loomis

Born and raised in Galveston, Texas, Loomis is the son of musician parents who listened to blues, rock and soul. Music ran in his veins and, with instruments readily available around the house, he picked up drums, piano, guitar and harmonica, honing his multi-instrumental talent in addition to performing regularly as part of his family’s doo-wop group.

“My parents had a fantastic record collection and, when I started writing, I gravitated towards what I’d been listening to all my life. I have a huge reverence for the blues and all it encompasses, but I’ve always been fond of R&B and funky music."

Loomis and crew shine on stage proving his music is best experienced in person, where one can see and hear its intended splendor. Described by Blues Blast Magazine as “a non-stop turbo of power, one minute moving from side to side of the stage, and then taking on his horn player in a head-cutting contest on the apron of the stage the next minute.” Loomis’ energetic, get-in-with–the-crowd antics are infectious. The swaying and clapping are just as he envisioned.

The HillBenders

Formed in April of 2008, and still touring with the original lineup The HillBenders took Performing Arts venues, festivals and clubs all over the US by storm in 2015 with their critically-acclaimed “Tommy: A Bluegrass Opry.” They followed up the Tommy tour with a year of successful dates joining Keller Williams for “PettyGrass.” (Tom Petty hits)

2020 will find The HillBenders continuing their firmly established presence as one of the most energetic and engaging progressive acoustic bands with their hit laden “WhoGrass” show, as well as outstanding original music from their fourth studio album, appropriately and eponymously titled “The HillBenders.”

Regardless of which show The HillBenders present, or a mash up of all of them, they deliver a perfect mix of virtuoso musicianship and rock star vocals.

They are one of the few bluegrass groups that recognize their ability to bridge the gap between the common music consumer and the bluegrass genre, selecting material that defies any hillbilly stigmas.

“We wanted to pair bluegrass with the other music we grew up with —rock and roll!” -Nolan Lawrence of The Hillbenders

the two tracks

Hailing from the eastern side of the Bighorn Mountains in Wyoming, husband and wife duo Julie and Dave Huebner are bringing their Americana back to the stage.

American Songwriter has this to say about The Two Tracks: "They avoid many of the cliches and gimmicks that have grown common in the Americana world while still championing a natural, Earth-grown sound. To hear an acoustic quartet reach a level of dynamic and thematic intensity like The Two Tracks do is an immeasurably rewarding experience. It’s pure musicianship, it’s pure excellence, it’s pure Americana."
